the room was lovely, so clean and warm. it had a separate entrance, meaning you don't have to go through the pub. getting an uber into town was quick and easy. chinatown is also just a short walk away, only 10 minutes.
The room proved a bit small. hanging space was limited. It was only behind the door.

My room was very clean. The staff were friendly and efficient. I had good food at reasonable prices with excellent service. I will definitely stay again.
I found the room a bit small and cramped. It was also hot! The road noise was quite noticeable at times, though the provided earplugs helped somewhat.

some issues to address

acceptable locationbroken shower holdercannabis smell
the location was acceptable.
The shower holder was broken. I had to hold the shower head myself. the carpet wasn't laid properly. my partner caught his toe on it and ripped his toenail off. also, the place smelled like cannabis, which wasn't exactly a selling point.

Fantastic Stay Near the Cathedrals!

superb locationfriendly staffexcellent servicedelicious food
The location was superb. I walked easily to main attractions. The staff was friendly, and they provided excellent service. My room was quiet despite its location on a busy road. The pub downstairs had a great local band on Friday, and the food tasted delicious.
The coffee machine lacked instructions, so I struggled a bit when I tried to make my morning coffee.
Rooms

The room had nice decoration and a big enough space to feel comfortable. I appreciated the cleanliness of the Double Room Private Bathroom. It looked immaculate. The bed was very comfortable, assuring a good night of sleep.
Dining

The hot water situation was really annoying. There was no hot water in the evening. I wanted to shower. it was a real letdown. the shower worked fine in the morning, but that didn't help me at all. i wasn't able to freshen up before heading out.

The staff was very friendly, greeting me and showing me directly to my room! The room had warm temperature, that was really nice. The power shower worked excellently, providing great water pressure. I found the location very quiet!
The coffee maker was hard to work out. I really needed instructions. The room lacked a wardrobe, using only hangers on the door.
